The Department of Continuing Education and Professional Development offers proctoring services for students taking courses at other colleges or universities or online through ULM.
What is the exam proctoring service?
Local students taking online classes or training at other colleges or universities may be expected to take exams for the course. ULM provides supervision and a secure testing environment for those exams. This service is also available to students enrolled in online courses through ULM.
When can exams be taken?
Proctoring must be scheduled in advance. To schedule an exam date contact the Department of Continuing Education and Professional Development.
What kind of environment is provided?
A testing room is provided for paper and computer-based exams.
Please note: One or more students may be using the facilities at the same time.
What arrangements need to be made?
Once you've talked to our department, you'll need to notify your institution that we've agreed to proctor your exam. Then provide them with our contact information so they can send the exam:

What do I bring to the exam?
Photo ID (Driver's License, Passport or student ID card)
Please note: You will not be allowed to take the exam if you do not bring a photo ID.
If the exam permits other resources such as a calculator or notes you may bring those as well.
What happens after the exam?
For paper-based exams, this department will return the completed exam to your institution and they will release the score/grade.
Please note: ULM does not provide a scoring service for proctor exams.
