The ULM Office of Continuing Education will offer a 12-week Notary Public Exam Preparation Course in 2026, designed to help you build the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to succeed on the state examination and earn your Statewide Jurisdiction Notarial Commission.
Through a mix of lectures, discussions, scenario-based practice, and mock exams, participants will gain a thorough understanding of Louisiana notarial law and practice. Classes meet twice a week for two hours each session, providing focused and comprehensive preparation.
Required Text: Fundamentals of Louisiana Notarial Law and Practice (current official edition; included in course fee)
Recommended Resources: Louisiana Civil Code, Louisiana Secretary of State website, and practice exam materials.
