This course is designed to instruct students in the art and science of minimal inhalation sedation using Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen.
The course encompasses evaluation of the child and adult patient prior to administration, management of the patient during administration, and the management of medical emergencies.
The course consists of 15 didactic hours (5 weeks) online study and 8 hours of clinical practice. The student will come to ULM for the one-day clinical component.
